Contemporary Ceramics Centre
A number of the smaller sculptural pieces of the type that I began developing during my recent MA at Bath School of Art and Design are on display at the Contemporary Ceramics Centre from May to the end of August 2019.
Most of these forms are made from white and stained stoneware, fired in oxidation. A high magnesium glaze is rubbled into the cracks and crevices of the surfaces and allowed to pool around the margins.
